Daily Maintenance (Applicable to All Types of Rolling Shutter Doors)

Clean the Door and Tracks
Wipe the door surface monthly with a dry soft cloth; for stainless steel materials, use a neutral cleaner to prevent rust. Clean dust, sand, and debris from the tracks to avoid jamming or wear.

Check Operating Status
After each use, pay attention to any unusual noises, looseness, stuttering, or misalignment. Observe whether the door operates smoothly and if there is any abnormal vibration.

Safety Device Test (if equipped)
Test the functions of infrared sensors, emergency stop buttons, safety airbags, etc., monthly to ensure they operate correctly.

Periodic Maintenance (by Cycle)

Weekly Maintenance
Thoroughly clean dust around the door, tracks, and motor. Check whether control buttons and remote controls are responsive and effective.

Monthly Maintenance
Apply appropriate lubricating oil (such as machine oil or lithium-based grease) to friction parts like tracks, rollers, and bearings. Perform full-cycle opening and closing tests to check for misalignment or stuttering. Fire-rated rolling shutter doors should be remotely opened and closed at least three times from the fire control room and test the interlocking function.

Quarterly Maintenance
Check the tautness and balance of the door curtain and adjust if necessary. Inspect motor temperature rise and noise, and tighten terminal connections. Fire-rated rolling shutter doors should undergo dual-detector interlock tests to confirm the automatic descent logic.

Annual Maintenance
Performed by professionals and includes
Motor performance and insulation resistance testing (≥0.5 MΩ);
Control system circuit inspection;
Calibration of the balancing system (spring/weight);
Verification of safety device effectiveness.
For fire-rated rolling shutter doors, check the reliability of limit switches and manual quick-release devices.
